Heads Up: Keep an eye on your battery life when recording in 4K. It uses more power and will drain your battery faster. PRO TIP: 4K video files will take up a lot of space on your SD card. Consider getting a higher-capacity card if you’re going to shoot in 4K. Also be sure that your phone or computer can support 4K playback before recording.

GoPro cameras frequently have SD card issues due to bugs and glitches, so formatting it can solve the issue. However, formatting your SD card will delete all the files on the card itself.
