Key features. Performance. Lab results. Verdict. The full-frame compatible Canon EF 24mm f/2.8 IS USM has the same focal length and aperture rating as Canon’s EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM pancake lens, the latter being designed for APS-C format DSLRs. The full-frame ‘EF’ lens is still reasonably compact and easily manageable at 68x56mm and 280g.
The lens in question (as in title) is a Canon EF-S 24mm f/2,8 STM. I am looking for a wider angle than the kit lens, and zoom is not much of a concern as I want to get wider shots of vista's. Also as a note I bought my camera off of ebay, and unknowing to me the original kit lens was not included.
