Return to Skyhold. Start JoH and do enough of the Ameridan quest line to visit the Lady's Island (quest: What Yet Lingers). Complete that quest to acquire the Aegis of the Rift ability. This will come in very handy for the second half of Descent, not to mention the JoH loot and Tier 4 mats. Return to Skyhold after you get the Aegis.
