Problems reported with EGR cooler of December 2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport with Ingenium diesel engine at 17,500 miles. Since May 2018 the car has been back to the dealer four times because of problems with the exhaust emissions sensors.

7 posts · Joined 2016. #1 · Jun 8, 2018. I have a Discovery Sport HSE MY2016 & a few weeks ago, I had a problem with my power steering when I started the vehicle in the morning. On starting, there was clearly no power steering when trying to turn steering left and a worrying crunching sound when attempting to turn the steering to the right.
Scientifically, the alert happens when 1) leaking, 2) faulty sealing, 3) faulty/sensitive sensor, 4) low temperature (contraction), 5) and some other rare problems in cooling system. I had a few coolant level alerts on winter but it was gone after a few minutes. So it was 4) to me.
Hello, My 2016 Discovery Sport SE TECH Heater fan (also Air-con fan) stopped working after being parked up for a week. I took it to Guy Salmon Land Rover Wakefield where they had it for 6 hours
I have a 3 year old Disco Sport Landmark and a month after the warranty has run out my screen has just stopped working (typical!). The radio came on when I started the car but went off about 30 seconds later and when I looked up the screen was black and my phone had stopped charging from the main USB in the centre storage box. YYCoE.
