This never happens in Far Cry 5, in any form. You can argue it happens at the end, but really, most people aren't gonna get that far and then just walk away. It doesn't feel right. IMO Far Cry is supposed to be about making tough choices that aren't purely good or bad in consequence. Far Cry 5 just never delivers that, at any point at all.
Again, about Far Cry 5 ending, but this time in favor of it. Far Cry 5. I've read somewhere that the car the Deputy drives during the explosions wouldn't even start, due to the EMP generated by the nukes. But, wouldn't the car's body act like a Faraday Cage, protecting it's electronic components?
But I just got done upgrading the chosen bow 400 times. Also a picture of my current inventory in case you’re curious! It took way too much time. 1 / 2. 165. 37. r/farcry. Join.
Joseph is the antichrist. The beast, which you saw, once was, now is not, and yet will come up out of the Abyss(U) and go to its destruction.(V) The inhabitants of the earth(W) whose names have not been written in the book of life(X) from the creation of the world will be astonished(Y) when they see the beast, because it once was, now is not, and yet will come.
The fact that you made a difference just hits you close. The cannon ending is the big bad gets away with all the horrible stuff he caused and the other ending when you're about to bring him to justice a nuke goes off proving he was right I hate when they do it that the crazy guy who did horrible things but was right (I liked it when sleeping dogs did this same thing crazy cult did horrible things but at the end when the world is supposed to end
Going along with the Biblical theme of Far Cry 5, the canon way would be Jacob, John, Faith and then the resist ending. With that being said, New Dawn hints that John was the last to be killed as Carmina was born on the day of The Collapse and right after you defeat John you get a call from Kim to do the Special Delivery mission in which Carmina is born but Jacob and Faith are up in the air
Before I start out, let me make it clear that this post is primarily about tonal dissonance and quality of writing of Far Cry 5 specifically. This is mostly an observation I found incredibly pervasive and striking in my time with Far Cry 5, namely that the game offers the choice between playing a male or female protagonist but the writing – in so many ways – is quite obviously written for
