2021 Golf 1.4 TSI Jul 25, 2021 VW Golf Mk7 Estate, GT, 1.4T SI 140PS, 6 speed Manual, Tungsten Silver Metallic / Titan Black, Loads of factory options & OEM+ mods. Mark I am sure I have read it on this forum, the 1.4 TSI 122PS engine is a new engine and is not the same as the one in MK6. As I am a proud owner of the MK7 with the above mentioned engine, I am sure it is belt driven.

Nov 1, 2013. #3. That sounds just like a very similar story to one posted on Scirocco Central re a DSG equipped car - the owner was drivng down the motorway and suddenly revs went to the red line as the power dissonnected from the drivetrain. He just about made the hard shoulder (like you thankfully).

The brake hose that attaches to the Golf’s caliper will often cause the brakes to stick. They may appear to be fine on the outside, but can break apart and collect debris on the inside. When this happens, it effectively traps pressure in the line. This keeps the brakes from releasing all of the way, and they stick as a result.
Hi there, I'm a senior member and bought my first new car, a VW Golf SE 1.4 TSI mk 7 in 2014. I liked it a lot, so in June 2017 I traded it in for a new Golf SE NAV 1.4 TSI model.

I own MK7 GTI Fully Bolt on Stage 3 from APR about 420hp I also have 2018 TSI 1.8T to get to 350hp you will need to upgrade the Turbo, most likely Downpipe,Intake,Intercooler and Exhaust. Than Tune it. On my TSI I’m stage 1 from APR,Ignition Coils, plugs and Intake and I’m roughly around 240hp on 91.
Is 90k miles on a vw golf mk7 1.4 tsi too much? My Profile My Preferences My Mates. Search My Stuff. What's New 3 12 24 72. Is 90k miles on a vw golf mk7 1.4 tsi too much? Reply Over the past fuel oil changes (every 8000km, car has 37000) I have done on the car I have noticed the coolant level getting slightly lower then when we bought it. The 1.4 TSI ACT 150bhp is a cracking engine that is pretty lively and can be very frugal at the same time, especially with cylinder de-activation under light loads. All in all, Mrs Dunc fuFle.
